It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Daniels of Ponca, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Jansen and Stella Jansen (Neumann); her husband Dean Daniels of Paul's Lutheran Church; her sons-in-law, Kent Eslick and Alan Schnoor; and her brother Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Mark "Bud" Daniels (Lisa) of Carroll, NE, Brenda Eslick of Emerson, NE, Marcia Saegebarth (Ryan) of Pierce, NE, Annette Schnoor of Ponca, NE, Nancy Wimmer (Trevin) of Ponca, NE and Penny Benton (Martin) of Dakota City, NE; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Lana, Nicholas, Meghan, Connor, Casey, Tara, Abby, Steven, Lindsay, Bailey, Reid and Matthew. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to Salem Lutheran Church in Dorothy's memory.
