He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Alois and Margery Louise Hoxmeier (Whitehead); and his siblings, Craig Hoxmeier (Betsy) of Orleans, Rebecca Malhoit (Steven) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Karen Matya (Thomas) of DeKalb, Illinois, Janet Dannelly of Lincoln, John Hoxmeier of Burlington, Kentucky and Kent Hoxmeier (Genalee) of Lincoln. He was also cherished by 26 nieces and nephews, and 46 great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in David's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
