He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Hanquist and LaVina Hanquist (Rodine); his wife Marlene Ruth Johnson; his brother Miland; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Hanquist, Ernest Gleim, Les Claussen, Marlowe Johnson and Keith Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Layne (Deb), Gregg (Cindy), Todd (Renae), Amy and Drew (Harris) of Hastings; his grandchildren, Nate, Gabe, Brady, Kyle, Garrett, Heidi, Mandi, Jonathon, Cole, Hank and Maggie; his sister-in-law Arlyn (Donna Hanquist); his siblings, Dorothy Claussen and Stan Hanquist; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Johnson and Gladys Johnson. He is also survived by his four children, 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brother.
