She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Anderson and Marie Anderson (Behrends); her husband Dr. Duane G. Koenig; her brothers, Marvin, Keith and Duane Anderson; and her brother-in-law Wayne Koenig (Pearl).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis O'Keefe (Sue) of Odessa and Terry O'Keefe (Fran) of Belton, Missouri; and her stepchildren, Duane Koenig (Debby) of Arlington Heights, Kandi Hawkins (Joe) of Beatrice, Shari Stokey (Joe) of Lincoln and Dr. Marc Koenig (Kerri) of Lincoln. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; ten step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services (116 N Jefferson Ave, Plymouth, NE 68424). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Beatrice Humane Society.
