He was predeceased by: his parents, George Yost and Emma Yost (Schachenmeyer); his wife Evelyn Malchow; his brother Delbert Yost; his parents-in-law, Ferdinand and Martha Malchow (Krause); his brothers-in-law, Bill Jurgens, Jerome Winkle and Alvin Malchow (Nelvadene); his nephews, Timothy Heller, Dion Higgins and Bill Malchow; and his great-nephew Justin Kunc.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Yost of Plymouth; his siblings, Marvin Yost (Gladys) of Plymouth, Melva Jurgens of Beatrice and RoJane Meyer (Dennis) of Plymouth; and his sister-in-law Leoda Yost of Crete.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been to established to the church or Plymouth Fire and Rescue with the church elders in charge.
