He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wasserman and Clara Wasserman (Meyer); his granddaughter Alicia Freese; his siblings, Melvin Wasserman and Irene Bartels (Frederick); and his parents-in-law, Frederick and Hertha Lohse.
He is survived by: his wife LaVon Wasserman of Plymouth; his children, Debra Freese (Pastor Stuart) of Hooper, Marc Wasserman of Plymouth and Becky Billesbach (Daryl Riesen) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Billesbach of Omaha, Michael Huls of Pleasantdale and Caleb Freese of Hooper; his great grandchild Elenor Rodriguez; his brother Leonard Wasserman (Delores) of Beatrice; his sister-in-law Verna Wasserman of Lincoln; and his parents-in-law, Karen Schotte (Delmar) of Marysville and Gary Lohse (Julie) of Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
