He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schneider and Emma Schneider (Kirchhoff); his brothers-in-law, Herman Remmers and Lawrence Wurm; and his great-niece Allison Wurm.
He is survived by: his sisters, Hilda Remmers of Beatrice and Marian Wurm of Jansen; and his nieces and nephews, Wilbur Remmers of Beatrice, Janet Harms (Don) of Syracuse, Dorothy Folkers (Merlin) of Randolph, Marvin Remmers of Dallas, TX, Joann Kerwood (Doyle) of Fairbury and Don Wurm (Tammy) of Plymouth. He is also survived by six great-nieces; three great-nephews; 13 great-great-nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the church elders in charge.
