It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter W Williams of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, born in Gibbon, Nebraska, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Williams and Katherine Williams (Michel); and his siblings, Myrtle, Esther, Jim, David, Harold, Albert, Edward, Bob, Ron and Ray.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Meier (Young); his wife Shirley Williams of Plattsmouth, NE; his children, Rick Williams (Chris) of Beaver Lake, NE, Julie Grancer (Chuck) of Plattsmouth, NE, Lisa Voss (Andy) of Mynard, NE, Laura Pohlmeier (Sean) of Beaver Lake, NE and Jason Williams of Bellevue, NE.; his grandchildren, Aaron Williams, Alexander Williams, Adam Williams, Liz Guenthner, Sarah Kucera, Rhett Grancer, Josh Dillon, Megan Osborn, Thomas Dillon, Brock Pohlmeier, Paige Kouba and Allie Witherspoon; and his siblings, Edith Tesarek (Art) of Plattsmouth, NE, Ethlyn Spires of Malvern, IA and Leonard Williams of Glenwood, IA. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
