She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paben and Hilda Paben (Kuessel); her daughter Jeanne Wilson; and her siblings, Leroy Paben, Laverne Koke and Karen Paben.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Schmitz of Plattsmouth, NE; her sons, Mark Ford (Mary Gunderson) of Council Bluffs, IA and Craig Ford (Dawn) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Allie Paulson (Nick), Cassie Johansen (Tory), Jason Wilson, Trevor Wilson, Audrey Wilson (John Harrison), Courtney Clark, Shelby Lojo (Darren) and Gabriel Ford; and her great grandchildren, Clyde Koca, Liam Paulson and Ella Paulson. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society or the Sienna Francis House in Omaha.
