She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dean Gapen Jr. and Perrilla Louise Gapen (Stoehr); and her brother Richard Gapen (Fran). She is survived by: her nephews, Brian Gapen (Cathy) of Birmingham and Keith Gapen (Janet) of Oriental, NC; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher "Chris" Gapen (Erin) of Hernando, MS, Derek Gapen of Oriental, NC, Christina "Tina" Houston (Benjamin) of Booneville, MS and Candice Serio (Joe) of Sterrett, AL. She is also survived by numerous great great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
