She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Arnold Petersen and Agnes Josephine Petersen (Spickermann); her brother Kenneth Petersen; and her husband Bob Slattery. She is survived by: her sister Shirley DiMercurio of Brentwood, CA; her niece Kristin Garcia (Antonio) of Brentwood, CA; her great-nieces, Analisa and Arabella Garcia; her great-nephew Carlo Garcia; and also Valerie Gerstenberger.
