He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Nelsen (Paulsen); his wife Patsy R. Nelsen; his father Melvin W. Nelsen; and also Margaret L. Nelsen. He is survived by: his daughter Martha Neumann (Tim) of Louisville, NE; his grandchildren, Melissa, Jake and Luke Neumann; and his brothers, Stephen Nelsen of Lincoln, NE and Michael Nelsen of Santa Fe, NM..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1025 Avenue D, Plattsmouth, NE 68048). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
Memorial donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
