With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry D Bonnema of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Marlyn "Doc" Bonnema; his daughter Joellen Bonnema; his brothers, Randy and Dan Bonnema; and his nephew Eric Bonnema.

He is survived by: his mother Joan Bonnema (Hofmeyer) of Orange City; his wife Treva Bonnema (Hurley) of Plattsmouth, NE; his children, John Bonnema of Kansas City, MO, Jason Bonnema (Jenny) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeremy Verschoor (Nikki) of Council Bluffs, IA and Jodi Witte (Clay) of Provo, UT; and his grandchildren, Anissa Buller (Sam), Madison Verschoor, Macey Swift (Tanner), Dylan Bonnema, Kayle Bonnema, Brady Bonnema, Sullivan Verschoor, Joellen Bonnema and Decker Verschoor.
