He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Aschenbrenner and Elizabeth Aschenbrenner; his wife Shirley Aschenbrenner; and his brother Frank Aschenbrener. He is survived by: his sons, John J. Aschenbrenner Jr. of Lincoln, NE and Mark J. Aschenbrenner of Lincoln, NE; his grandsons, Adam Aschenbrenner and Tim Aschenbrenner (Sheree); and his great grandchild Jessa Aschenbrenner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
