It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Furlong of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herchel L. Furlong and Lorene E. Furlong (Crabbe); his wife Joanne Furlong of Plattsmouth, NE; his daughters, Jodi Daly (Jon) of Phoenix, AZ, Jenny Putnam (Mark) of Wayne, NE and Julie Furlong (Steven File) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Kendall Daly (Chris Hallowell), Alyssa Daly, Felicia Jager, Steve Keiser, Megan Keiser, Serena Putnam and Olivia Eveland; his great grandchild Graycen Pochyla; and his siblings-in-law, Paula Furlong of Plattsmouth, NE, Edie Choate of Tumwater, WA, Jim Mellick of Omaha, NE, Earl Mellick (Linda) of Norfolk, NE and Harold Mellick (Belinda) of Lincoln, NE.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
