He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel D Coop and Cathleen M. Coop; his granddaughter Alyssa Johnson; and his sister-in-law Christine Coop. He is survived by: his sons, Rob Coop of Plattsmouth, NE and Brian Coop (Miriam); his grandchildren, Dylan, Kaitlynn, Brandon, Austin and BreAnn; and his siblings, John Coop of Papillion, NE, Sharon Hall (Larry) of Ava, MO and Kaye Topscher (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
