She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Whited and Johanna Whited; her husband Danny D. Houston; and her siblings, Robert Whited and Marjorie Larson (Arthur).
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jo, Curt Houston of Honolulu, Scott Houston (Janet) of Beaver Lake, NE and Catherine Brandt (Ron) of Beaver Lake, NE; her grandchildren, Keli Houston (Thinh Pham) of Honolulu, Brandi Houston (Steve Gurtel) of West Dover, VT, Scott Spompinato (Andrea) of Ralston, Michael Houston (Brad Cone) of La Vista, Micaela Hopkins (Casey) of Omaha, Megan Brueseke (Michael) of Suffolk, VA and Molly Wilson (John) of Pierce, CO.; her great grandchildren, Boden, Claire, Titus, Soren, Griffin Brueseke, Jaymeson, Presley, Beckett Wilson, Jocie, Camryn and Delaney Lustgraaf; her nephew Robert Whited (Kathy); and also Pamela Whited of Omaha.
In Lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials be directed to the Shriner's Hospital or the Donor's Choice.
