With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Traver of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Traver to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Leo and Sally Traver; his grandson Anthony; his brothers, Tom and John; and his stepmother Ida.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Traver; and his children, Jamie Shaw (James) of Plattsmouth, NE, Nathan Traver (Kayla) of Topeka, KS, Kristen Janssen (Kevin) of Elmwood, NE and Samantha Traver of Lincoln, NE.. He is also survived by his four children, 14 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and his children's mother.
Graveside services will be held, privately, at the Omaha National Cemetery on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Due to the restrictions and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, please wear a mask.
