It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard A Nelson of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, born in Virgil, South Dakota, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Nelson and Inez Nelson (Martin); and his wife Joan Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Jamie Nelson of Omaha, Jeff Nelson (Rachel) of Omaha and Troy Nelson (Sarah Jennings) of Omaha; his grandchild Brody Nelson; and his siblings, Jeanie Lyon, Idella Bawdon, Lois Rice, Lauren Reynolds, Lisa Lentze, Steve Rice and Mark Wiand.
