She was predeceased by: her parents, Joao Carreiro Santos and Luisa Maria Santos (Santos); her sisters, Margarida Pereira and Ilda Santos; and her brothers-in-law, Juaquin DeJesus and Valdemar Martins.
She is survived by: her caregiver Assistant; her daughters, Mary Beecher (David) of Plattsmouth, NE and Linda Parman (Tim) of Walnut, IA; her grandchildren, Billy Corns, Brehana Preis (Sam), Nicholas Corns, Brittney Corns (Michael Grieve) and Morgan Corns (Mark Chronister); her great grandchildren, Landon Corns, Nathan Corns, Trenton Corns, Bentley Corns, Lawrence Preis, Easton Corns, Preston Chronister and Brooklyn Corns; and her sisters, Zenaida "Gabby" Martins of Plattsmouth, NE and Oliveira DeJesus of Portugal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
