She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harry Nielsen and Lillian Cole Nielsen (Adams); and her siblings, Maxine Bowman and Russell Nielsen. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Kerns of Plattsmouth, NE; her children, Tammy Gebhart (Bill) of La Vista, NE, Tallie VanWesten (Glen) of Plattsmouth, NE and Terry Kearns (Sandy) of Plattsmouth, NE; her grandchildren, Marty VanWesten (Keisha), Alicia Wolles (Patrick), Ken Kerns (Nicolette), Amy Kotera (Mitch), Chris Kerns (Colette) and Nic Gebhart; her great grandchildren, Gryffyn, Elle Marie, Loretta, George, Wilhelmina, Charlie and Molly; and her sister-in-law Joyce Sievers (Jerry) of Bellevue, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
