He is survived by: his wife Diane Lyerly; his daughters, Darci Poland (Monty) of Plattsmouth, NE, Danelle Merk of Davie, FL and Darah Merk of Chicago, IL; and his brothers, Darrel of Charlotte, NC and Larry of Irvington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
