He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen T. Grove and Fern A. Grove (Buethe); his wife Meredith Grove; his brother Kenneth Grove; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Stanley and Eileen Grove.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Johnsen of Fallbrook, CA, Shari Thompson (Reggie) of Plattsmouth, NE and Barbara Molck (Steve) of Plattsmouth, NE; his siblings, Wayne Grove of Spokane, WA and June Bartels (Ray) of Elk Creek, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Grove of Tecumseh, NE and Richard Stanley of Auburn, NE.. He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren.
