We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2025, at the age of 59, David R Lanum of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lanum and Glenda Fisher; his grandson Callum Jacob Lanum; his brother Patrick Foyt; his in-laws, Merle and Geraldine Dasher; and his good buddy Rod McKulsky.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lanum; his son Jake Lanum; his daughter-in-law Adrian Lanum; his daughter Makael Weatherby (Lanum); his son-in-law Nathan Weatherby; his grandchildren, Tinsley, Tansy Lanum, Calder and Acre Weatherby; and his siblings, Jim Gochenour (Virginia) of Arkansas, Paul Foyt of Nebraska City, Cathy Smith (Jerry) of Union, NE, Diane McFarland of Medford and Sandy Sampson (Bill) of Plattsmouth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a lot of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harvey Funeral Home (1408 8th Ave, Plattsmouth, NE 68048). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (701 Chicago Ave, Plattsmouth, NE 68048).
