It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecilia Elaine Hampton of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James DiCarmine and Mary Rose DiCarmine (Colvin); and her husband Dennis Hampton. She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Hampton (Anita) of Page, NE, Christy Underwood (Jess) of Oshkosh, NE, Hannah Eckerman (John) of Plattsmouth, NE and Joel Hampton of Pahoa, HI.; her grandchildren, Taylor Hitz (Dalson), Morgan, Ty, Madison Hampton, Jordon, Javis Underwood, Bailey and Evan Eckerman; her great grandchildren, Drexyn and Hestyn Hitz; her sisters, Jackie (Bill) and Cindy Tribble (David); and her sister-in-law Debby (Gene).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Elaine Hampton Memorial Fund to be used towards children's ministry.
