She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Howard Henry; her daughters, Susan Sunderman (Kirk) of Plattsmouth, NE and Nancy Fuller (Aaron Black); her grandchildren, Melissa Wooten (Mike), Travis Ritter, Alecia Fuller, Megan Fuller and Taylor Sunderman; her great grandchildren, Jayden Wooten, Kaleb Wooten, Logan Wooten, Noah Wooten and Emmett Wooten; her brothers, Ronald Smith (Dawn) of Rome, NY and Daniel Smith (Christine) of Jacksonville, NC; her mother Ruby Smith; her husband Dr. David Hefner; her brother Richard Jaynes; and her grandson Jeffrey Ritter. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to Life Spring Church.
