She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Barnhill and Cecile Barnhill (Haile); her husband Richard H. Fischer; her son Richard L. Fischer; and her great grandchild Jordyn Kay Homan.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol; her children-in-law, Steve Hoffman of Overland Park, KS and Janet Fischer of Milford, NE; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fischer of Omaha, NE, Drew Fischer (Leslie) of Omaha, NE, Emily Hoffman of Russellville, AR and Alex Hoffman of Overland Park, KS; her great grandchildren, Taylor Barrett, Ellen, Jackson and Evan Fischer; her great great grandchildren, Adaleigh and Grayson; and her siblings, Leonard Barnhill and Lorraine Lawson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (701 Chicago Ave, Plattsmouth, NE 68048).
