It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia M Scranton of Plainview, Nebraska, born in Orchard, Nebraska, who passed away on September 2, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Derickson and Pearl Derickson (Mitchell). She is survived by: her husband Elvin "Bud" Scranton; and her children, Myron and Teri Beth (Pat Wortman). She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
