He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Eckert and Alvina Eckert (Jensen); and his son Jeff Eckert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Eckert of Pilger, NE; and his daughter Jean Schaulis of Wisner, NE. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
