He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Land and Francis Land (Jennings); his siblings, Bill Land and Shirley Aukland; and his sister-in-law Darlene Land.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Clevenger; his children, Deb Ferguson (Jim) of St. Joseph, Stacy Grasmick (Tim) of Pierce, Scott Mason (Christy) of Long Pine, David Land of Brady, Greg Land (Christy) of Brady and Jeremy Clevenger (Crystal) of Osmond; and his brother-in-law Steven Clevenger of Kearney. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
