We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2021, at the age of 88, Deverne D. Malchow of Pickrell, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Malchow and Marie Malchow (Krause); his wife Gardenia E. Binger; and his son-in-law Nicholas Palermo. He is survived by: his children, John Malchow of Pickrell, Joy Barefoot (Tom) of Kearney, Ruth Schoen (Myron) of Adams, Paul Malchow (Julie) of Calhan, CO, Grace Palermo of Hickman and David Malchow (Heather) of Filley; his grandchildren, Rachel, Luke Barefoot, Kaylee, Ashley, Cameron Schoen, Brooke, Dillon, Jasmine Malchow, Samantha, Grayson, Gemma Palermo, Bryce, Autumn and Carson Malchow; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Tegtmeier of Beatrice, Dr. Bern Binger (Linda) of Belvidere, IL and Peter Novellino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to Nebraska Lutheran High School with the funeral home in charge.
