With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leora P. Sullivan of Petersburg, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Meyer and Bertha Meyer (Schumacher); her husband Raymond P. Sullivan; her parents-in-law, Pat and Anna Sullivan; her brother-in-law Orville Kollars; her brothers, Bill (Peggy Jansen) and John; her grandmother McGill; and her nephew Michael Gilsdorf.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Sullivan (Charlotte) of Harlan, IA, Beth Wahlers (Pete) of Denver, CO, Mary Ives of Denver, CO, Teresa Heying (Bob) of Petersburg, NE and Doug Sullivan (Nancy) of Billings, MT; her siblings, Katie Gilsdorf (Earl) of Bellevue, NE, Joyce Kollars of Lincoln, NE, Renae Pieters (Ed) of New Town Square, PA, Vernon Meyer of Omaha, NE, Dennis Meyer (Charlene) of Olathe, KS, Dean Meyer (Karen) of Norfolk, NE and Delwin Meyer (Lee) of Fremont, NE; and her brother-in-law Gene Sullivan (Hilda) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church - Elgin (301 S 2nd St, Elgin, NE 68636). A wake will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
