It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly J. Liewer of Peru, Nebraska, born in Butte, Nebraska, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Liewer and Leone C. Liewer (Tiefenthaler); his wife Thelma Conyac of Mary's Catholic Church; his sister Patricia Beran (Rollie); his parents-in-law, Hector and Julia Conyac; his brother-in-law Bud Conyac (Iva); and his nephew Chris Conyac (Dee).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Liewer (Cynthia) of Imperial, NE, Patrick Liewer (Colleen) of Omaha, NE., Ronda Reid (Scott) of Auburn, NE., Thomas Liewer and Julie Svajgl (Jim) of Council Bluffs, IA.; and his grandchildren, James Reid (Jenna), Matthew Liewer, Katherine Ray (Michael), David Reid (Nichole), Kelly Danaher, Patricia Reid, Jaclyn Harris (Jeremy), Nicole Northey (Will), Shannon Fisher (Kelton) and Veronica Svajgl.
