John D Boellstorff lit a candle

“I first met John about 16 years ago at the VFW in Peru. He often made me feel welcome with great warmth, a big smile, sometimes a hug and genuiness l could feel. Similary when leaving. He was so easy to talk with. His family was obviously his life as he freely expressed his joy and love of them and in life. He knew that each day was a gift to be cherished and that none of us knew how much time we had. He was truly a 'Big Man' in strength and ability to show love to others. I love you John.”
