It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Gene Whisler of Peru, Nebraska, born in Auburn, Nebraska, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Benjamin Gene; his brothers, John Dempsey, Jr. and Those; his daughter Ashley May Schramm of Falls City; his daughter-in-law Kelly Whisler of Falls City; his grandchildren, Cameron and Daphne Schramm; and his siblings, Jackie Kuskie of Central City, Judi Shannon of Elma, WA, Juanita Whisler of Tacoma, WA, Julia (Randy Perry), Joe (Gloria Whisler), Jeff Whisler of Bay City, TX, Jay (Susan Whisler), Josh (Jackie Whisler) and Jerry (Suzanne Whisler).

He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Croghan.
