She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Meserschmidt and Anna Meserschmidt (Paulsen); her husband Charles "Charlie" Puls; her son Charles Jr.; and her sister Iona Gleason.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Muffly (Tom) of St. Maries, ID, Carol Blum (Ben) of Luverne, MN, Susan Urbanec (Robert) of Pender, NE, David Puls (Janet) of Alexandria, VA and Lisa Tangen (Tom) of Vancouver, WA; and also Scott Gleason (Kelly) of Indiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
