It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Lorensen of Pender, Nebraska, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Alexander and Helen Alexander (Pautz); her sister Arretta Alexander; and her significant other Keith Richard Lorensen. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Mary and Ann Lorensen; her children, Karen Jones (Paul) of Phoenix, Ore, Retta Mullaney (Joseph) of Laguna Woods, Calif, Mark Lorensen (Jana) and Lynn Sorenson (Chip) of Pender; and also, Jaxon and Jordan. She is also survived by The grandchildren and beloved grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pender Community Foundation, The Diabetes Foundation, Alzheimer's Foundation or the Nebraska Humane Society.
