We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2024, at the age of 97, Phyllis J. Thomsen of Pender, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Seggern and Martha Von Seggern (Zimmerman); her husband Elmer Thomsen of Luke's Lutheran Church; her sons-in-law, Curt Novak and Fred Bentjen; her grandchildren, Jana Bentjen and Randy Novak; and her siblings, Donald Von Seggern, Vivian Richards, Helen Bean and Mildred Thomsen.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Bentjen, Bev Novak of Pender, NE and Keith Thomsen (Jane) of Pender, NE; her grandchildren, Mike Bentjen (Gretchen), Pam Peters (Matt), Brad Bentjen (Melinda), Amy Cogswell (Jeff), Heidi Thummel (Jarrett), Hayley Hallstrom (Mike Hallstrom) and Travis Thomsen (Keri); and her great grandchildren, Kyle Bentjen and Keathen Cogswell. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
