With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlyn P. Smith of Pender, Nebraska, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Smith and Catherine Smith (Simonsen); his former wife Leona (Fredericksen); and his daughter JoAnn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Trimble of Pender; his children, John Smith (Chihiro) of Pender, James Smith (Tasha) of Miramar Beach, FL and Jan Roberts (Gregg) of Lincoln, NE; and his siblings, Donna Miller (Bruce) of Las Vegas, NV and Layton Smith (Fawn) of Pender. He is also survived by fifty grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
