He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Urbanec and Betty Urbanec (Franzen); his brother John Urbanec; and his grandchildren, Christina Brader and Austin Brader.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Woodward of Pender, NE; his children, John Urbanec of Papillion, NE, Matthew Urbanec of Wayne, NE, Tina Brader (Chris) of Pender, NE, Tanya Gamble (Robbie) of Wayne, NE and Terri Bonneau (Kent) of Lyons, NE; his sisters, Kathryn Niederhaus (Keith) of Las Vegas, NV and Mary Engelhart (Loyd) of Fremont, NE; his sister-in-law Joan Urbanec of Pender, NE; his brothers, Robert Urbanec (Susan) of Pender, NE and Randy Urbanec (Margaret) of Walthill, NE; and his brother-in-law Gaylin Woodward of Wayne, NE. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (302 Norris Ave, Pender, NE 68047). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
