Larry W. Sunderman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry W. Sunderman of Pender, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Sunderman and Elsie Sunderman (Hammer); his sister Karen Sunderman; and his siblings-in-law, Rae Sunderman, Russell Hoppner and Stanley Nelsen.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Sunderman of Pender; his children, Steve Sunderman (Lynette) of Pender, Brenda Barner (Darrin) of Laurel, NE and Barb Murphy (Mike) of Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Shane Sunderman (Lucy Larsen), Tanner Sunderman (Jynessa), Justin Murphy (Nick), Nathan Murphy and Alyssa Murphy; and his siblings, Marilyn Hoppner of Hampton, NE, LeAnn Jones of Moore, OK, Marjean Mostek (Leroy) of Beemer, NE and Alvin Sunderman of Thurston, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home (312 Mc Cabe St, Pender, NE 68047). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (1257 M Avenue, Pender, NE 68047).
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
