He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd West and Mildred Harriman (Todd); his parents-in-law, John and Ruth Schultz; his sister Rosemary Svehla; and his brothers-in-law, Ivan Schultz, Al Rasmussen and Al Friesen of Omaha.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Kent (Gerry) of Pender; his children, Brian Kent (Michele) of Pender and Viann Martin (Michael) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Daniel Kent of Lincoln, Dylan Huber (Noah) of Pender and Erin Stanczyk (Duston) of Port Charlotte, FL; his great grandchildren, Max and Olivia; his grandson Benjamin M Martin of Lincoln; his great grandchild Izayah; his siblings, Wanda Rasmussen of Tahlequah, OK and Denton Kent (Dianne) of Bentonville, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Svehla of Tahlequah, OK, Rocky, Shirley Schultz of Greeley, CO and Evelyn Schultz of Prague, OK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
