He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Powley and Mary Powley (Taylor); and his nephew Derek Powley. He is survived by: his brothers, Paul Powley (Teresa) of Pender and Dave Powley (Wendy) of Pender; his niece Sheena Whitsell (Jarred); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ella and McKinlee of Lincoln; his niece Jessica Bentley (Danny); his great-niece Elizabeth; his great-nephew Reed of Pender; and his nieces, Kayla Powley of Lincoln, Paige Ellis of Mesa, AZ and Emily Ellis of Pender.

Memorials are suggested to the Pender Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
