It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Simonsen (Pender, Nebraska), who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Simonsen and Elsie Simonsen (Paulsen); his wife Lois Renander; his siblings, Elaine Kai and Kenneth; his son-in-law Denny Watterson; and his grandsons, Erik and Joel Conrad.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Simonsen (Janelle) of Pender, Randy Simonsen (Claudia) of Pender, Cheryl Watterson (Tom Surman) of Sergeant Bluffs, IA and Kathy Conrad of Omaha. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
