With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane A. Slaughter of Pender, Nebraska, who passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Slaughter and Edith Slaughter (Seward); his wife Dorthy Marie Schroeder; his son Michael; and his brother Marlin.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry (Kris) of Lompoc, CA, Gary (Jo) of Lyons and Richie of Fremont, NE; his daughter-in-law Debbie (Michael) of Omaha, NE; his children, Roger of Lyons and Beth of Firth, NE; and his brother Loren of Sterling, CO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
