She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Peters and Ann Peters; her husband Les Schmeckpeper; and her siblings, Betty Beyer and Don Peters.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Schmeckpeper (Sandy) of Sioux City, IA, Scott Schmeckpeper (Erica) of Pender, NE and Kurt Schmeckpeper (Shannon) of Crete, NE; and her grandchildren, Alan Schmeckpeper (Elisha), Sara Sangwin (Justin), Brook Schmeckpeper (Chaz Webb), Jared Schmeckpeper, Braden Schmeckpeper, Marisa Schmeckpeper and Ethan Schmeckpeper. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many extended family.
