He was predeceased by: his parents, John Theiler and Lucille Theiler (Madison); his brother Robert Theiler; and his granddaughter Amanda Theiler. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Melton of Paxton; his children, Brycie Marine (Larry) of Maple Grove, MN, Lori Day (Terry) of Madrid, Terri Monzon (Scott) of Valley, Rick Theiler of Omaha and Susan Hauserman (Erik) of Minden; his brother Richard Theiler (Debra) of Mesa, AZ; and his sister-in-law Shirley Theiler of Hastings. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home (602 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (301 E 4th St, Paxton, NE 69155). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
