He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcellus Schulz and Phyllis Schulz (Stander). He is survived by: his wife Judy Hopken; his daughters, Syd Schulz of Paxton and Devin Hallett (George) of Paxton; his grandchildren, Claire, Maggie of Xavier, EJ and Owen; and his siblings, Calvin Schulz (Pat), Sharon Petersen (Gary) and Marcia Perlinger (Bernie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Church (319 E O St, Ogallala, NE 69153).
A memorial has been established in Dennis' memory to the Paxton Volunteer Fire Department and the Paxton Optimist Club.
