He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Clyde and Laura Velma Farwell (Pelton); and his siblings, Lavinna Thiemann, Margaret Korber, Horace "Stub" Farwell, Laura Meier, Jennie Boehmer, Alberta Koester, Ida Kanel Gilbert, Dean Farwell and Roy Farwell.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Hess; his daughter Jeanne Kitchens (Perry) of Bennington, NE; and his stepchildren, Gary Farwell (Marianne) of DuBois, NE, Randy Farwell (Deb) of Lincoln, NE and Russell Farwell (Cody) of DuBois, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
