He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Dora; and his brother James. He is survived by: his son John; his siblings, National Junior Olympic Track, Field Championships, Omaha and Jean Coady (James); his sister-in-law Deb Wissler (James); his nieces and nephews, Heidi Koster, Shayla Wissler, Joshua Wissler, Kiel Coady, Keenan Coady, Killian Coady, Ryan Wissler and Jacob Wissler; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Stachya Wissler, Cadince Coady, Claire Coady, Anna Koster, Emily Koster, Kenzie Coady, Corinne Coady, Konnar Coady, Kalyn Coady, Kason Coady and Salvatore Wissler-Vartuli. He is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
After his mother's passing, John continued to enjoy their favorite activities until Parkinson's Disease made it impossible to remain in his home.
